Aoife McGinn is our intermediate and Advanced Harp Tutor.

Aoife attained her harp Grade 8 and Diploma from London college of Music at the age of 16 and since then have been performing gigs, teaching and competing in a range of competitions. 

 

She has competed and won County as well as Ulster titles from a young age. Over the years Aoife competed in multiple age groups at the Fleadh, achieving medals at an all Ireland level. In addition to this Aoife has been awarded SEELB: Outstanding Achievement of the Arts Award and Credit Union Young Performer of the Year.

 

Aoife performs in a group with her sisters - ‘The McGinn Sisters’ at various different venues and gigs including weddings, corporate events and concerts. She also part of the Irish Entertainment Group and Celtro where we perform throughout Belfast and beyond,  including on cruise ships.

 

Aoife grew up playing traditional music on several different instruments from a young age and is also classically trained.
