Niamh has been on our teaching staff at GSOTM for 2 years now and teaches both beginner and intermediate Bodhrán classes.

 

Niamh attained her Bodhrán Grade 8 Distinction in the London College of Music exams with an outstanding 100% mark. She has proudly obtained multiple awards in Bodhrán, Singing and Harp over the past number of years.

 

Niamh has also competed at the prestigious All Ireland Fleadh in Wexford 2024 as a finalist in Bodhrán.

 

A highly experienced performer across several disciplines, Niamh has performed at many events and live TV performances. She performed a singing solo during a RTÉ live performance from Donnybrook studios and played live on TG4 with GSOTM during as part of a performance line up at the All Ireland Fleadh in Mullingar, 2023.

Niamh was part of the ensemble of musicians at Belfast Tradfest's successful Céili at the Castle in 2023.

Niamh is no stranger to performing to a large audience either as she recently, with ease performed Solo at the Ulster Schools Hurling Final at the start of The Mageean Cup Final. Just 2 days later Niamh performed with GSOTM in the Waterfront Hall, Belfast at a sold-out concert with the Furey’s in January 2024.
