Every summer a group of students aged 14+ attend a week of workshops and seisiúns in Gortahork, Co. Donegal. 

 

This provides additional tutelage under one of our senior teachers where students learn new tunes, sets and arrangements and builds on the music they have been taught through the previous 2 terms. 

 

While music is the main aspect of the residential, a large emphasis is placed on the fun and social elements which includes day trip to Tory Island, sandcastle building competition at one of the many local beaches and seisiúns in the local hotel, pubs and Teach Ceol.
